Sara Lewandowski

Sara Lewandowski holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Health Counseling from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and a Master of Arts in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA.

Sara enjoys working with people across the lifespan and has experience working in various settings, such as: acute hospital, longterm care facility, outpatient clinic, school based clinic, and the home environment. Utilizing a client centered approach, Sara helps her clients engage in the activities and tasks of daily life that are most personally meaningful and fulfilling. Some examples include: being able to access play and socialization, being able to put on and remove clothing, being able to prepare a meal, etc.

As a lifelong learner, Sara enjoys taking on new challenges and continuing education courses to build her occupational therapy practice. She has completed training in: hand, wrist, and shoulder injuries and treatment, attachment centered and play based therapy techniques for young children through adolescents, and sensory integration informed assessment and treatment. She also holds a special certification in the therapeutic use of physical agent modalities (CPAM).

When Sara isn’t working, she can be found engaging in any number of hobbies including: exploring nature, learning about and photographing plants, animals, and mushrooms, creating elaborate makeup looks, weaving macrame art, or relaxing at home with her wife and cats.
